jill turned one on saturday. we got to have a little party with family and friends at the park. jill was so funny, walking around and watching all the other kids play. she loves to be outside and i think she had a great time. she got a lot of great presents. funny thing is that with all her new toys she still prefers to carry around a EXPO marker and the occasional toothbrush. maybe she'll grow into her new toys...
here's her stats... head: 18in (70%), weight: 20 lbs (33%), length: 30 in (65%).

Oh yeah, she got a ton of great toys. She will notice them one by one and start playing with them. It is just nice to have them at the house so you can offer them to her when she is ready. We had a lot of fun at her party. I still can't believe she is one!!!
Did she get to tear into that cake by herself or did you not do that tradition?

toddlers change so much from 1 to 2 and so fast. can you believe it...she is a toddler now.

you know it! ice cream cakes are the best. plus, jill still has issues with wheat so we had to make it birthday girl friendly. the down-side is that they cost an arm and a leg.
i gave jill free reign and she didn't really tear into the cake. i think was pretty tuckered out by then i didn't care too much.

So cute! I still have presents from Brielle's last birthday, unopened. She will always have funny little things she carries around. I packed a few toys away for a while and i rotate them every 3 or 4 months then you don't have stuff out all the time and Jill gets "new" toys to play with. Crazy head stats, little girly!
