when the kid is quiet...

every parent knows that if your child is quiet for any amount of time in another room something interesting is going to happen. as clingy as jill has been lately, today she was in her room and being very quiet. finally i yelled her name and told her to come out. this is what i got... nothing too bad. just a few tights around her neck that she kept trying to put on her head. oh, and socks and tights strung all over her room.
jillian's imagination and speaking is really starting to develop. she'll continue to eat air out of the fruit snack bag after they're gone. she likes to pretend to put her toys and blankets to sleep. everyday she says a new word. yesterday was moon, and today was poop. of-course the next day she's not sure how to associate the word but it's awesome to watch her grow up. i guess it's almost time for a new baby around the house because mines not so "baby" anymore.

i almost forgot, today jill peed in her toilet twice!! jeff wants her out of diapers before the new one. i think it's wishful thinking but i really should never underestimate jillian.

what a sweet pic of her and daddy.

it's so funny to see the things that they do when you're not around. she IS such a big girl. a complete toddler.

i wish you the very best in potty training. i have given up, so i have no thoughts/advice on the matter.

wow, she actually peed in the toilet! Thats good that she even knows what to do! I'm not sure Olivia would have any clue... I TOLD you she would start saying new things any day now! It's fun to hear them say new words even if they don't remember 2 hours later..

what???? jill is so advanced! I guess I should challenge Nora more... I haven't even thought about potty training yet. These girls definitely aren't babies anymore though, that's true. I love it so much and at the same time I miss that baby cuddly stage. It goes by so quick!

That is great that she went on the toilet!! Madison didn't do that until I potty trained her, so I'd say that was a good start!! When we found out that I was pregnant I decided we were going to have Madison potty trained by the next one, too. The baby obviously didn't happen but I figured I might as well try since I'd planned it and it worked out, but every kid is different.

What a big Girl! We've been trying to potty train but Brielle likes aria's attention when she gets her diaper changed! So, she wants it too. I say, nip it in the but before your next is born. Especially if she's doing so well. Go Jill!
