fun from the reunion

friday night: i didn't make it past this round of survivor. i don't know how to whistle, let alone with a mouth full of saltines.

friday night: direct descendants of don and marion who served a mission.
wed: we went to Jordanelle to play on boats and we got rained out!! i wasn't complaining though. it was so beautiful there and i really enjoyed the cooler weather and storms.
friday night: more team survivor. green team rules!

tues night: this hat game was my favorite by far!! it's similar to musical chairs but way better!! jeff, sarah and i were in the top three. sarah won!
top three of survivor. jeff won!

tues day: we went to provo cemetery for a devotional. it was perfect weather and and absolutely beautiful tribute to don and marion corbett. i really enjoyed getting to know the family i married into to.

Alisha, it still looks like you are the life of the party! Your reunions look so much better than any I've gone to. I need to know what these games are so that we can steal them and use them at some of ours!! How fun.

I wonder what everyone thinks about us at the reunion. Pretty cut throat competitors, huh?

"i was so beautiful there" -- I'm sure you were, Alisha, you're always beautiful.

That looks like it was a lot of fun! I've never been to a family reunion that had games and activities planned (besides a potluck picnic, but that doesn't count).

Wow. So that's what a reunion is. Coming from a family with one sibling and parents who had no siblings I am a bit reunion-challenged. I actually won one of those cracker eating whistling contests once. Someone said I cheated though. How do you cheat when your mouth is stuffed with crackers? I remember I threw a fit cuz I'd won and I wanted the prize. (I was young, very young.) That's a bit embarrassing to admit now!

Re: your comment (on Nettie's blog) on the book review for Twilight. Yes, the review does make it sound weird and lame. I wasn't going to read it either. However, I spotted it at Deseret Book when we were coming home from Utah and I needed another book to read on the trip. I found it a fun, easy book to read. Don't judge it too harshly. It's got a lot of good reviews out there. Plus...have you read the reviews on Half.com for the Harry Potter books? Hogwarts? Slytherin, Witches and Sorcerors? Vampires can't be any lamer than that can they? I was just happy to read a book where everyone wasn't sleeping around, etc. Try it. You may like it. I never tell people they'll love a book cuz then they'll inevitably hate it. Plus everyone has different tastes in what's interesting. I have yet to get into Harry Potter. I'm going to attempt it though. Wish me luck!

By the way, Jillian is soooooo blasted cute!
